When deciding who to hire to coordinate, announce, and entertain your Wedding Party, you need to be sure you have put your trust in an experienced professional who is fully qualified and dedicated to making sure every moment of your Special Day is PERFECT!

Our past experiences, whether running sound, doing security, assisting caterers, working for other DJ outfits, or just attending the wedding of a close friend or relative, have shown us how devastating it can be to a Bride when she doesn't get to hear the songs she requested for her Special Day! And we know first-hand what a bummer it is when the DJ won't play any songs your guests request.

What can be even worse, and almost an insult, is when your cutting your cake and your special song comes on - When I'm Sixty-Four by the Beatles, or How Sweet it Is version by James Taylor, only the songs are not by the Beatles, or James Taylor, or even Kool and the Gang! By the end of the night, you relize that half of the songs you requested are not the songs your grew up with, but cheap, second-rate versions of our favorites as recorded by bands like The Top Ten Hit-Makers, or The Countdown Singers! I mean, you can glare at the DJ all you want when you hear this rinky-dink elevator song ruin your special moment, but every time you look at pictures of you and your Husband cutting the cake, you will remember how you got slighted before the dancing even began!

At EVENT AUDIO and Elite Events, we don't want to just get you through the evening, we want to Make Your Dreams Come True! We GUARANTEE you will hear only the Original Hits by the Original Artists! We have been warned by other DJs across the country, but I send DJs packin' when I see As Performed by in the small print on the back of their CDs! I have also been warned against having a Play-list Guarantee, that's why I put it in my contract!

Our Unique Play-list Guarantee is available in any of our Premium Packages, including the New Country Club Reception Package, and you must have your Planning Forms turned in at least 30 days before the event to be covered by the Guarantee. The policy GUARANTEES that we will bring ALL the songs on your Must=Play List or you will recieve a 15% refund of the total performance fee.

By signing above, ENTERTAINER entitles CLIENT to EVENT AUDIO’S Unique “Play-list Guarantee.” All titles listed under CLIENT’s “must play” list on the event planning form will be guaranteed, AS TIME PERMITS, as long as this list is provided to ENTERTAINER at least thirty (30) days prior to the event. This guarantee is limited to twenty (20) selections listed under “must play” on our event planning forms, and may include only such titles as are available in mass media format. Rare recordings and limited edition versions cannot be guaranteed. If CLIENT has presented the event planning forms at least thirty days prior to event, and ENTERTAINER should fail to bring these selected titles, the CLIENT will receive a refund of 15% of the total performance fee.

The Play-list Guarantee is, in my opinion, the least we can do for our valued Clients. This policy reflects our resources; before we purged our hard drives at the beginning of the year, we had over 80,000 media files! We have access to major on-line music resources, and there is almost nothing we won't do to please our favorite client, the Bride who needseverything to be perfect! We limit the Must-Play List to twenty selections, because we should have time to fit that many must-plays in during the high-energy dance-party at the end of the evening. This is in addition to all of the titles requested for the Schedule of Announcements and the Special Dances! The guarantee makes clear that these selections will be worked in during the evening AS TIME PERMITS. This is important, because the nature of the songs on your list, the age groups and attitudes of your guests, and how much time we have directly affects which songs on my play-list actually make it to the floor.

Being able to read our audience, remain interactive and spontaneous, and provide a fun, age-apropriate, dance-party is one of the Arts of a DJ. The difference between a DJ and an entertainment professional is being able to ride that fine line between artist and professional. What sets the echelon DJs apart - what makes these premium services worth $1200 to $2400 is blending a mastery of knowing which hits will please which audiences, with the fine-tuned talent and charisma of the Wedding Reception Master of Ceremonies!

As you will find out from your first meeting with your Entertainer, after the formalities and Special Dances are out of the way, the Bridal Party Dance is the song that usually begins the dance party. We will recommend a high-energy or upbeat song, the lights will get everyone excited, and away we go! Our goal will be to get everyone on the dance floor, and we have a few tricks to help us along. First, if there are kids present, and especially if they seem a little antsy, we will play something for them early, usually Hey Ya and the Cha-Cha Slide if it's on the list. Then we want to get your grandma out there, and your aunt, and mom! And we can do it! We know how to 'feel them out' during the cocktail hour with a little Bobby Vinton and Etta James! We can pull everything from the Jitterbug to Old Kentucky Waltz, you name it! Because once your grandma hears that stuff, she'll know it's gonna be now or never; The Post has NOTHIN like our oldies list! And once your guests see Granny burnin a hole in the floor, they will be compelled to follow. We play a clean show at all family events, with radio-edited versions of all the Billboard Chart-Toppers, from the Fifties to Today! When your play-list includes titles by Eminem and Buckcherry, we are not going to play even the radio-edited verion of Smack That until the last hour of the Reception! And I pray your Grandmother is safely on her way home before I bust out with any of that American Hot Wax!

Furthermore, the policy of Our Unique Play-list Guarantee reflects an estimate that 75% of your able-bodied guests will participate in the dancing, more than 50% of your guests will be on the dance-floor for most of the dance-party, and every Premium Reception we have entertained, one to twelve people have told the DJ that this was the best Reception he or she has ever been to! If you notice that some of the intense dance songs are being mixed into another song a little early, look at the clock. If there is only one hour left, stop by the DJ table and let me know whether I'll Still Kill is more important than Boogyman or whatever Must-Play title you don't remember hearing! If you feel your Entertainer has not brought all the music he promised, you must ask him about it before the show is over! That way he can make sure to get that important title on before the Last Dance. Feel free to ask your Entertainer for more information if you have any questions. Being informed is the first step, and if all of your titles are important, there are lots of ways to work them into different parts of the evening.
