Elite Events Community Projects

I am delighted to learn that our organizations may share some common goals. Our unique associations with many small businesses and issue-motivated individuals and entertainers, has left us with an exciting, comprehensive agenda, available to any qualified sponsor. As I mentioned on the phone, our partners have been dedicated to providing safe all-ages entetainment in Michiana for more than eight years.

Stage One: Fund-Raising

The first step in our agenda is finding sponsors and co-sponsors.
  • Sponsors include non-profit organizations who are interested in our unique turn-key specialty fund-raising events.
  • Co-sponsors are other businesses who have identified their own community goals and what non-profit organizations they would like to help. We work together with these co-sponsors to develop larger fund-raising events.

Wine-tasting:

Our newest Unique Fund-raiser, the Elite Events Wine Tasting Party is developed with our partners at Blarneystone Wine and Spirits. The party is classified as Casual or Informative, with a charismatic 'bartender' who will lead the donating party-goer through an inclusive, easy, entertaining lesson on the topic of your choice. Examples include: wines from each of the different types of grapes; wines by geographic classifications; wines for different foods; etc. This fund-raiser truly qualifies as an Elite Event, and once your target audience has been reached, your requested cover-charge (including donation and operational expense) can be pretty much wherever you want it.

Canoe Launch:

One of our favorite seasonal fund-raising events is the supervised canoe / kayak launch, available along the St. Joseph River in Elkhart, South Bend, or Mishawaka in Indiana, and the St. Joseph and Dowagiac Rivers in Niles, Buchanan, and Dowagiac in Michigan. This fund-raiser is available with a few slightly different themes, for all-ages, family, or adult. With our without a 'wet-bar' barge. This strikingly eco-friendly fund-raiser is at once elite and inclusive, whether geared to the all-American family or all-ages group outing, or to a more subdued and sophisticated adult canoe launch with the wet barge. There is an unmistakable elitism in being served a cocktail in a glass with ice while drifting gently down the St. Joe River just before sunset.

Dinner Party:

This is a favorite of our clients, like SJRMC Marketing VP Anthony Snyder and MHIN admin Sandra Harris. Our Clients appreciate our ability to make them look good in front of a big-money sponsor. This setting is suitable for a conversational Country-Club atmosphere, complete with Diana Krall and Etta James; the consumate donor's banquet; or cigar and cocktails.

Stage Two: Promotions

This second stage is where the events promote and fund themselves, proving to further our goals and sponsorships, and allowing us to research what programs attract what sponsors. An end in itself, being able to entertain while you earn is the best way to love your job!

Dance Party, Black Tie:

This is the gala event you have envisioned to at once represent your good taste while raising a substantial amount of money for your cause. A fine reception, complete with cocktail hour, dinner, awards and announcements, and an evening of dancing for your sophisticated audience. Having an event like this one-third of the way through your fund-raising season is ideal, as there will be announcements to bring staff and participants into the fold with donors, creating a unified atmosphere to keep your donors interested in the project.

Masquerade Ball:

This Unique Fund-raising event is the ultimate blend of fine echelon entertainment and grandiose Victorian romantic fantasy. All guests (donors) are required to wear a costume, or at the least a mask. Guests will be invited to an event-specific Web Page, which allows them to piece together a Victorian-era constume to order for the Ball. Designer masks will be available at the door. The effectiveness of this themed ballroom affair cannot be overstated. Some of your donors never get to have this much fun any more. They deserve it!

Stage Three: Age-Specific Events

These are the dance parties and fun activities we will be putting together for different age groups, and every one will be more fun than the last. As I may have mentioned on the phone, once you can keep an underage music venue clear of drugs and fights for three months, you will be able to charge up to $15 each at the door, and a good attraction will bring in an average of 300 kids twice a month. The kids and the parents will be willing to pay that much if they can trust you to deliver two things: safe and fun.

Kids' Dance Party, ages 15 and under:

For the most part, age 14 often seems to be the cutoff when the kids know everything and you can no longer entertain them with "The Chicken Dance." Until then, we can have a lot of fun and never have to worry about what kind of music to play. There are many companies, including Disney, who have released volumes of kids' recordings, both classics and pop hits.

Kids are just as susceptible to a themed or costumed party as any of us, so expect the unexpected when planning your next kids' party with us. We also partner with "Majic Steve" who is a beloved local entertainer, now with a residency with the South Bend parks Dept. He has developped a curriculum to teach children majic, and ends sessions with a personalized certificate and trick to go.

Teen Dance Party:

Two keys to keeping young people interested in your activities are: variety and "cool." You can never let your event become routine. It's easy to keep things fresh by switching up the theme! And you can not let on that this is what the establishment wants them to do. You have to maintain this whole 'free-will' atmosphere that is non-oppressive, while still being able to police the activity outside and in the surrounding neighborhoods to keep participants out of trouble. Simple themes can net great rewards, and they include: Alternative Prom Night; pajama party; foam party; beach blanket party, etc.

Stage Four: Community Projects

This stage is for the successful organization that has entertained kids for a few months, has proven their effectiveness to donors, and is ready to move on to a large community project.

The Revelry ©:

This is a two-stage, all-ages event that celebrates music from different genres, as well as youth lifestyles.

Michiana Hip-Hop JAM ©:

This all-ages event celebrates the "hip-hop" sub-culture which includes so much more than just rap music. It encompasses a life-style that celebrates the challenges urban youth face every day. Since it includes many other forms of urban youth music, these groups are encouraged to put together their own talent groups and perform for their peers.

Community Haunted House:

Our associations with local entertainment organizers has put us in a unique position of a crew with decades of successful haunted house experience. There is no finer way to get a community involved in your youth project than sponsoring a community haunted house. For examples, look at the community pride in the non-profit haunt in Niles.

Thank you for indulging in our agenda. Please contact us right away to find out how to incorporate some of our ideas with your upcoming youth-oriented project.
